I'll go ahead and build a local fltk with these patches to get my tigervnc in tiptop shape :). For reference while trying to convince my distribution to add these patches, are they scheduled for incorporation into the primary fltk source base at some point, or is it stuff that upstream fltk doesn't want at the moment? I wouldn't say scheduled, but I'm working with upstream to get them accepted. Unfortunately not at a very rapid pace since I have too much other stuff to do. :/ Rgds -- Pierre Ossman Software Development Cendio AB http://cendio.com Teknikringen 8 http://twitter.com/ThinLinc 583 30 Linköpinghttp://facebook.com/ThinLinc Phone: +46-13-214600http://plus.google.com/+CendioThinLinc A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text. My system at work has dual 1920x1200 monitors, as does my system at home. In the past, I would run tigervnc in full screen mode, and it would be just like I was sitting at work, my two monitors at home displaying exactly the content of my two monitors at work. It could be a settings issue. Have you checked that Enable full-screen mode over all monitors is checked in the options? I don't see that in my options, I had found that suggestion before I posted but couldn't find a place to set it. In version v1.2.80, there are four tabs under options, Compression, Input, Screen, and Misc. Screen only has Resize remote session on connect Resize remote session to the local window Full-screen mode Ah, digging through the source code I see that option is conditional on #ifdef HAVE_FLTK_FULLSCREEN_SCREENS and running configure shows: -- Performing Test HAVE_FLTK_FULLSCREEN_SCREENS -- Performing Test HAVE_FLTK_FULLSCREEN_SCREENS - Failed with the error: src.cxx:2:72: error: ‘fullscreen_screens’ is not a member of ‘Fl_Window’ I have fltk 1.3.2, the latest stable, installed. It has no reference to fullscreen_screens. Neither does the latest snapshot release. Google find a patch to fltk-1.3 that introduces it: http://www.fltk.org/strfiles/2860/fltk-1.3.x-multihead.patch So in order to make this option work, you have to installed a custom patched version of fltk?
