This
is the wrong way to look at it, Izzy. You cannot blame someone for obeying their
God-given conscience by voting what is right. One person I work with said he was
going to vote for the lesser of two evils... and that's exactly what he's going
to vote for: EVIL. Granted a LESSER evil but evil nonetheless. Sometimes we
believers must venture out on the path less traveled. You're telling Kay that
she's foolish (perhaps not in those words but the message is loud and clear) for
NOT voting for the lesser of two evils. If people would quit reacting in FEAR
and vote according to righteousness, we would actually see a change in this
country.Step out in righteousness so we CAN see some positive change.
Please stop trying to change our worldview through this common fear tactic. It's
time to say, "Get thee behind me, Satan."

Sorry
to have misinterpreted your post. Some of the reasons she thinks Bush is
deficient have been posted on this newsgroup. Yes. We begin Yom Kippur this
evening. It IS a celebration... once it's over. It's rather... cleansing and
that's where the celebrity is. We follow the biblical pattern. We deny ourselves
with a fast. We will go to Synagogue this evening (the Kol Nidre service
combined with Shabbat) but I will not return for the Morning Service nor the
concluding Neilah Service as the Day concludes. We will break fast as a family.
Four days later will be the beginning of the Season of our Joy... the Feat of
Tabernacles (Sukkot)! That's my favorite time of year. (One year I was able to
celebrate it twice -- one lunar month apart -- because two groups were using
different calendar renderings.)

I don't think it will be close at all. Kerry will get perhaps 44%
of the popular vote, Nader will get 3% and Bush will have somewhere around
53%.

Kerry has no idea what he thinks about Iraq and neither does anyone
else. Hating Bush will not win this election. The
economy is doing as well as can be expected and is no longer a big issue
(Kerry's only prayer.) Too many view Kerry as a trader (including
yours truly) for him to win. Most of his advisors and Bill Clinton
have told him to get away from Vietnam
and the Iraq
war issue. It will be his down fall. His wife is a goof
ball. The CBS scandal is growing and may
involve Kerry's people.

Giving some attention to Democrat startegist Pat Caddell will give one a good
view of just how bad things are for the Kerry camp.

So what does that mean regarding how you plan to
use your vote? Hopefully you wont assume Bush will win, so throw away your
vote. Izzy

Four years ago, I had no idea how the
system works, Izzy. I know now the system is broken and corrupt. If
I had known Floridians would have been so confused, I probably still would not
have voted because I didn't know we were in such trouble. Since I've been in Florida the past 14 months,
I think it's due to the heat and sun. :)

It's my understanding that a vote for the
CP party won't be wasted. There was a very good article on the site regarding
wasting/wasted votes that made a lot of sense to me. I'm still working on
whether I'm being buffaloed by it or not. The logic makes sense.

Kay, Im so happy
to hear that you are finally realizing how important your vote is to the future
of our children and all of society. If you had known how close the
election was going to be last time in Florida,
would you have voted for Bush then? Do you realize it may be exactly that
close again this year? And do you realize that a vote for whoever the CP
candidate is might as well be a vote for Mickey Mouse for all the good it will
do? Izzy

It's only been
very recentlythat I've even been interested in the voting scheme. I did
not vote last election because I thought Gore would win anyhow and I felt it
wasn't worth. I believe I wrote in my own candidate...Mickey Mouse. I did vote
Bush Sr. against Clinton
before that. I was not aware of a Constitutional Party until a few weeks ago. I
want to see change in how things are run because I think we're on a rather wide
path as a nation. I'm in the court rooms regularly and working with people all
across the US
on their cases. It makes me sick the things I've seen and heard in court houses
as well as read in court transcripts. I'm not on here very often because I'm
usually pretty packed with things to do...especially with our family. Today, I
was on the alternative political sites and decided to pose the questions I had
to other Believers. I've also asked several of my colleagues today how they
vote. One is a pastor/speaker and he's at the same place I am...undecided, but
heavily leaning towards CP. The other is an attorney (a Believer) I work with
and he is voting CP.This surprised me. Generally, I don't discuss politics with
others because I know how heated conversations can get when people
are passionate about a subject. I'm in the trenches bringing family rights
issues to the forefront. I'm now realizing how we have to be political minded
because we must change legislation in order to preserve our rights that we
already have. If I am fighting these issues, but voting irrationally, I'm
putting my family and my clients families at risk and we will never see change.
We have to stop sitting idly by doing nothing and we have to come
togetherto make CHANGE happen. We need to cooperate them into submission...to
God.

I don't think it will be close at all. Kerry will get perhaps 44% of the popular vote, Nader will get 3% and Bush will have somewhere around 53%.

Kerry has no idea what he thinks about Iraq and neither does anyone else. Hating Bush will not win this election. The economy is doing as well as can be expected and is no longer a big issue (Kerry's only prayer.) Too many view Kerry as a trader (including yours truly) for him to win. Most of his advisors and Bill Clinton have told him to get away from Vietnam and the Iraq war issue. It will be his down fall. His wife is a goof ball. The CBS scandal is growing and may involve Kerry's people.
