I tried the following: - removed samba cmpletely (apt-get purge) - removed Rhythmbox the same way - reinstalled Rhythmbox through Ubuntu Software Center Tried Rhythmbox again - the above steps didn't help. Then I tried Rhythmbox under another user account on my machine - it worked just fine! So I created another admin account, logged into it, deleted mine, then removed and reistalled samba Rhythmbox again via apt-get using wildcads (sudo apt-get install samba4* rhythmbox* respectively). NOTE: I installed *samba4* this time. Then I re-created an account for myself and logged into it. So far everything works, i.e. Rhythmbox (with MTP plugin active) folder sharing. cerco di mandare un fax direttamente da computer, o tramite hp-toolbox
cliccando su send fax, su add e scegliendo un file prima creato in formato .ps,
oppure scegliendo la coda di stampa fax da Open Office (file - stampa -
HP_Laserjet_3055_fax), mi compare, dopo un certo numero di invii, il seguente

Dopo un pò di tempo il problema si risolve da solo, poi nuovamente si
ripresenta. Preciso che uso la stampante tramite cavo LAN (prima la usavo via
Usb e mi è stato chiesto di procedere in questo modo proprio per evitare il
problema, che invece si è ripresentato) e ho creato un bridge tra l'interfaccia
di rete fisica (eth0) e una rete senza fili (eth1). La mia multifunzione è una
HP_Laserjet_3055 series. Vorrei sapere se si può evitare che il problema si

Thats the same situation on most nvidia powered netbooks. Personally I had always problems with mutter/clutter/gnome-shell on my nvidia powered netbook. Gnome-shell problems solved some months ago, always the critical issue is clutter/mutter with prop graphic drivers. I do not know what Gnome-Shell developer did to solve performance issues on prop driver but they made it work fast at least. I am anyway confused about other users with intel drivers having no issues with unity although they dont have a very fast gpu. Public bug reported: Binary package hint: copyfs I have tried to use the fuse based versioning file system copyfs. It fails to mount, instead insisting I use a fuse kernel module, even though I should have fuse support in my kernel. Notable is that I can use other fuse based file systems. This package is broken.
