Fairly certain this is a duplicate. The traceback in the original report is only half the story. Using G3, a db_sync against a populated database first ends with error AttributeError: 'NamedTuple' object has no attribute 'project_id' which Bug #1130424 addresses. Subsequent db_sync's after failing once ends with the IntegrityError originally reported. [Bug 1154805] [NEW] Juju/MAAS does not provide feedback when there are no available nodes are found
Public bug reported: This bug was found when debugging for bug in [1]. Hence, no node is allocated (hence the WebUI doesn't show the allocated node). [Bug 982889] Re: X trying to start before plymouth has finished using the drm driver
Alrighty, I've posted an update to the PPA for folks to test. https://launchpad.net/~bryce/+archive/lp982889/ As before, it looks like i386 has built, but amd64 is having some troubles - I've restarted it and hope it'll build by morning. Those of you on amd64 who are comfortable building packages locally may want to just grab the .dsc and roll your own .debs. Otherwise, hopefully the PPA will rebuild amd64 by tomorrow. Maarten Lankhorst theorized that the failure to 'reset' may be because we need to forcefully set xserver as master of the DRM, so this patch adds a call to drmSetMaster(). Unfortunately, with the limited testing we've done so far we did not see this as truly fixing the bug. Maarten believes plymouth may not be handing the drm off properly, and has been roughing up a plymouth patch to try to investigate that angle. Anyway, along with the drmSetMaster() call, I've done a rewrite of the patch, to make the logic a bit more presentable. I also knocked the timeout down to 2 seconds. So, worst case, for those of you suffering from this bug, this PPA should give you a slightly faster boot and otherwise no change in behavior. I've verified on my own (non-bugged) hardware that at least the xserver boots up and works properly in the non-bugged case. For those of you wanting to do more testing on this issue, one thing to try is disable plymouth completely. It seems that simply specifying nosplash on the kernel command line is insufficient to fully disable plymouth, and it's thought that perhaps this may account for why some people found the same troubles even though they turned the splash screen off. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/982889 Title: X trying to start before plymouth has finished using the drm driver To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libdrm/+bug/982889/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 969489] Re: lightdm tries (and fails) to start too early?
#64 provides a work-around that does the trick for me too. I'm on the same kernel as jmac939 there, and about 50% of the time my system boots properly into the lightdm login screen. But the rest of the time the system fails to do so but shows only the black screen + mouse pointer. When that happens, I type in my password blind and my login proceeds normally. [Bug 997470] Re: apport-gpu-error-intel.py keep crashing for 4-5 times on every reboot
I have an Dell Latitude E5420 which was sold pre-installed with Ubuntu, and this bug affects it too. So far it seems that the effective remedy is removing Apport: $ sudo apt-get remove apport apport-gtk apport-symptoms python-apport This solution is fine for me, since Apport anyways only wastes my time. It wants to report the same issues over and over, and I never get any feedback on the bug number or what happened to the issue, and I can't find the reports anywhere, so I assume the reporting system is broken and my reports don't actually get send anywhere or at least never get processed. It would be nice to see a Canonical blog post telling how much help Apport-initiated reports have had in finding and solving bugs, if any at all. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/997470 Title: apport-gpu-error-intel.py keep crashing for 4-5 times on every reboot To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xdiagnose/+bug/997470/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Re: [Bug 1068756] Re: IPv6 Privacy Extensions enabled on Ubuntu Server by default
That's a bug in the software - not the server system. If the software requires a global source address to work, then it should ask for one when doing the bind or provide an option to do so. If it doesn't do that then that is a buggy IPv6 implementation and should be reported as such. The problem here is developers using IPv6 with an IPv4 mentality. You shouldn't wait until all pages you've opened on step 3 are loaded. 4. now open about:newtab again and with a good chance some of the preview will be corrupted. Sometimes there is no corruption, but some preview is displayed on the wrong position, for example two different sites share the same preview image. Another way to reproduce: 1. make at least one `speed dial` button (preview on about:newtab) in Firefox filled with any kind of preview, just any site you want 2. close all tabs except one and this last one tab should be about:newtab page 3. go to http://www.dreamworksanimation.com/ and add it to bookmarks, then close tab (sorry, bookmarking is the only way I know to make a specific site to show up in previews) 4. open about:newtab again and remove any preview image from it by pressing [X] 5. open bookmarks and drag dreamworksanimation bookmark you've made on step 3 into the freed on step 4 place 6. now visit http://www.dreamworksanimation.com/ so Firefox will generate preview 7. close tab and open again about:newtab. The preview for dreamworksanimation should be corupted Sorry if the descriptions are a bit messy. Also I don't have any other issues with firefox sites rendering, just issues with rendering previews. [Bug 1116659] Re: HIGH failure detected during S3 test
Honestly, since I do not have access to the hardware, and it's extremely unlikely that we'll get any help from the OEM on this, I'm just going to mark this particular one as invalid, I doubt we'll get any more info at all making debugging impossible. ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete = Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1116659 Title: HIGH failure detected during S3 test To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1116659/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
