Samba shares are mounted and accessible via Files file manager.
Drag-n-Drop file from mounted Samba share into new Email attachments area works.
Cannot send email due to:

"Sending of the message failed.
There was an error attaching smb://server/path/to/file. Please check that you 
have access to the file."

Totally embarrassing to have to tell Linux users that this simple
feature is not working ... complete let-down!!

If you open a file with anjuta dev studio, make a change, and save, you get a 
warning message: "The file xxx has been deleted on the disk. Do you ant to 
close it ?" [Deleted] [Cancel]
this is due to g_file_monitor_file that faulty report a 
G_FILE_MONITOR_EVENT_DELETED

at this very exact moment, when enable debug for glib with G_MESSAGE_DEBUG=all 
(otherwise it is silent), glib raise a 
(anjuta:20012): GLib-CRITICAL **: Source ID 4909 was not found when attempting 
to remove it

I tried the latest mainline linux kernel for wily: no sd-card and the same 
errors in dmesg.
Oddly enough, an older 3.19.0-31 kernel which was still in my grub list also 
showed the same behavior. I cannot recall this happening when i used 15.04 
vivid.

I booted from a live stick with 15.04 and the SD-card was detected.

I have added the dmesg output of the 4.3.0 mainline. Let me know if you
need the dmesg output of the other two kernels and/or want me to do more
testing and data collecting.

The machine has a built-in DP MST bridge, but the driver has no support

... unfortunately I realized that my problem begins NOT with screensaver 
activation, but screen LOCK activation.
During test I switched off the LOCK, this is why my problem seemed to be solved.

I finaly found the reason.
The problem was related to the  USB stick preparation.
On the USB stick I had the debian8netinstall.iso.
Then I used the unetbootin to write on the same USB stick the ubuntu 
installation iso.
The files from the debian distribution were not erased.
so the installation process seems that had found some .deb packages from the 
debian directories
and installed them.
This was causing the problem.
If the USB stick is clean then the installation is performed OK.

Dear developers of the lubuntu-desktop package,

I am not experienced on bug reporting. Let me know if additional testing
would be required. For instance, I could install lubuntu on a virtual
machine, to make the bug easily reproducible. Let me know if this would
useful, or just a waste of time.

I am working with a small computing platform as part of my research, an Odroid 
XU3. For information about this platform you can check this website:
http://www.hardkernel.com/main/products/prdt_info.php?g_code=G140448267127
Basically it is a small computer that is equipped with a relatively powerful 
ARM processor.

My issue, is that for my work I need to synchronize the clocks among
various machines connected through LAN and WLAN networks. For this
purpose we have been using quite successfully "chrony",
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/chrony . The problem is that
"chrony" (sudo apt-get install chrony) requires the uninstallation of
the "ntp" package. Then, because "ntp" is required by "lubuntu-desktop",
we also need to remove the lubuntu GUI.

Then, the bug would be "easily reproducible":

- Clean install of lubuntu on an Odroid XU3
- Go to terminal: sudo apt-get install chrony
- This requires the removal of ntp.
- The removal of ntp causes the removal of lubuntu-desktop

So my question is, is it be possible to run lubuntu-desktop without ntp,
or alternatively with chrony? If any of these are possible, how can it
be achieved?

I hope that I could clarify the issue that I am facing with lubuntu-desktop, 
ntp and chrony,

I have to HP Proliant D380 Gen8 Servers with a shared iSCSI storage in a
xen cluster configuration. They run 12.04 amd64 and are fully patched
and freshly rebooted.

When i call
 /usr/sbin/xm migrate --live  
on one server this "sending" system reboots instantly and the VM only appears 
in an undefined state on the "receiving" host.

After redirecting the console output of the hypervisor to com1 i was
able to retrieve this error message:

stack, the pjsip is the one recommended to use. If asterisk in ubuntu is
so broken that pjsip is not working properly than it's good enough
reason to switch distro.
