[Bug 1769383] Re: Ubuntu dock/launcher is shown on the lock screen

2019-01-26 Thread Ahmad Amr
I have just enabled proposed and upgraded to gnome-shell-extension-ubuntu-dock
(63ubuntu1.18.10.2).
The issue seems to be solved, but I believe it will need more time for testing.

I cannot believe such a high-severity bug has been around since early
May, 2018, on both 18.04 LTS and 18.10. Shame on you Canonical!!

[Bug 1812410] Re: Intel x550 not negotiating to 10Gb on x299 chipset

2019-01-26 Thread Kai-Heng Feng
Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer
to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Please test the latest
v5.0-rc3 kernel[0].

If this bug is fixed in the mainline kernel, please add the following
tag 'kernel-fixed-upstream'.

If the mainline kernel does not fix this bug, please add the tag:
'kernel-bug-exists-upstream'.

Once testing of the upstream kernel is complete, please mark this bug as
"Confirmed".

Thanks in advance.

[Bug 1296883] Re: Trusty server OEM mode hangs at first boot

2019-01-26 Thread luke
** Description changed:

When doing a server install with the latest Trusty daily (2014-03-24) in
OEM mode, the boot hangs during the first boot after the install. Please
  see the attached screenshot.

At the time when it hangs, this is the final output on the console:

  * Starting End-user configuration after initial OEM installation (debconf)
- * Starting
+ * Starting
  plymouth stop
  * Stopping End-user configuration after initial OEM installation (debconf)
  * Stopping System V runlevel compatibility
  rc
  * Starting
  tty1

Not sure if "ubiquity" is the correct source package to file this bug
against, and also note that the information collected by Apport in this
case is totally irrelevant as I'm filing from a laptop desktop install,
not a server. I filed the bug this way only because the "Report a Bug"
link on Launchpad currently seems broken as it just redirects to this
  page:

[Bug 1807375]

2019-01-26 Thread vasthusya
Created attachment 280781
0004-Bluetooth-btrtl-Expose-btrtl_device_info.patch

Hi Kai,

Your patch #2 had two issues:
 - btrtl_device_info definition is unavailable in hci_h5.c as it's not in header
 - a couple of argument type mismatch

It would have compiled fine when you don't have CONFIG_BT_HCIUART_RTL=y

I have made it compilable and running it now with working Bluetooth.

Thanks

[Bug 1813438] Re: intl.so fails to load with "undefined symbol: spoofchecker_register_constants" on PHP 7.3.1 in Disco

2019-01-26 Thread Michael Marley
It seems to be caused by the latest release, 7.3.1-2, and its change in
how icu is detected. Reverting both that change and the change in icu
to not ship icu-config and rebuilding makes the issue go away again.
