Additional info: All icons appear at login. When I copy a file from Dolphin to the desktop, the icon for the copied file only appears after refresh (F5 key). The issue persists. Plasma 5.27.8 on a fully updated KUbuntu 23.10 (Mantic). If I create a file in the Desktop folder (from a shell with touch), it does not appear on the plasma desktop. A refresh (F5) is required to make the icon appear. If I delete the file in the Desktop folder (from a shell with rm), it does not disappear from the plasma desktop.
