Finally I can update. Thank you all especially Brian-Murray.

[Bug 387461] [NEW] Firefox-3.0.11 hangs forever at illegal java statement in mangle page

2009-06-15 Thread FredrikAgert
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

Firefox hangs on a browser mangle page with illegal java directive. This
happens only on one of my machines. An AMD64 machine. It happens only on
the browsers in ubuntu reciprocy, it dont happen if I download for
instance swiftweasel and install it by myself and run it on the
offending page. The page with illegal java directive can be found at
http://agert.homelinux.org/~fredrik/webbrowser/mangle/htmler/1742.html.

Expected result
The browser is supposed to follow the refresh directive and start showing next
page.

Actual result
The browser hangs forever on the 1742.html page with CPU load close to 100%. If
I try to stop the browser, the process hangs around, still eathing 100% cpu.

This happens in Ubuntu 9.04

Apt-cache:
Installed: 3.0.11+build2+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.9.04.1

The error also happens on firefox 3.5
Installed: 3.5~b4~hg20090330r24021+nobinonly-0ubuntu1

if i try gdb firefox (in /usr/lib/firefox-3.0.11) i get

(run; ctrl-c; bt)
