[Bug 403135] Re: Notification area icon wrongly rendered/uses bg_color as a background (multiple apps)

2010-05-31 Thread JeromeQc
Is status: Confirmed → Invalid is suppose to mean that it won't
be fixed? It also leaves a white background with aMSN and Beagle Search
since I upgraded to Lucid Lynx.

I see this is affecting 295 people and there is a huge bunch of
subscribers. Should I hope this will be fixed anytime soon? I don't want
to complain but I'd like to stress on the fact that it gives a very
amateurish look.

Did anyone found a clean solution beside changing the theme or painting
the the icon's background? Could any developer point out where they
suspect that bug to be so that I can try to fix it if myself? Why did I
only get it since I upgraded to Lucid Lynx? What changes were made to
introduce this behavior?

Thanks.

[Bug 498742] [NEW] This thing won't work!

2009-12-20 Thread JeromeQc
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: ubuntuone-client

It's simple, it just doesn't work at all.

You made bad decisions with your latest release. This is horrible, it
broke many things and my system is now much slower.

I will move on Debian as soon as I can!

[Bug 353356] Re: Gnome screensaver lock always reports incorrect password

2009-08-30 Thread JeromeQc
I am experiencing the exact same issue and Saramburu solution doesn't
work for me. It must be because of recent updates since this issue only
started today and I was able to unlock my screen many times a day just
recently.

This is a major problem for me since I have another bug when I switch
sessions causing vertical green lines on my screen. The only workaround
is to restart my X session and it made me loose my work setup each time.
For now, I unchecked the screensaver option to lock the screen.

This is not related to the screensaver (in my case) because I also get
this problem when locking the screen manually from the start menu.

What missing information do you need to be able to solve it? I can
reproduce it easily.

I am on Jaunty Jackalope with Gnome 2.26.1.
