[Bug 654493] Re: infinit loop with openssl s_client -connect xmpp-gmx.gmx.net:5222 -starttls xmpp
Indeed, s_client seems to support only poor man's xmpp. You can still use it if you temporarily rewrite gmx.de (or any xmpp-gmx.gmx.net hosted domain) to the ip address of xmpp-gmx.gmx.net in /etc/hosts and use -connect gmx.net:5222. (1) openssl does not detect the error situation at all and ends in an endless loop loop. GnuCash builds perfectly against gtkhtml-3.8. It is a ubuntu packaging bug to use gtkhtml development releases leading to 3.14 and mark them as 3.8. Why that? OK, I will stop rejecting bugs ;-) I assumed you did what gnc-fq-check told you, namely run gnc-fq-update as root. If you do this, you will see that Crypt::SSLeay is not installed, since there is indeed a bug in the CPAN package.
