** Tags added: apport-collected cosmic wayland-session

** Description changed:

Hi, I recently upgraded my Dell 9360 to Ubuntu 18.10. Ever since I
cannot login after I close the lid and reopen it. The screen is mostly
black. See attached photos. There are also some graphical errors in the
still working menues. My work around: Manually suspend the notebook and
wake it up via power button. Then I get the regular login screen.

This happens both on X and Wayland sessions.

How can I debug further? Any help much appreciated.

I have set GNOME-Gmail as my default e-mail application in Ubuntu 17.10.

Can anyone confirm this? Work-around or fix much appreciated! Thx

When I take a look at the German Amazon product reviews of the Logitech

a hardware issue rather than an Ubuntu/Linux issue.

[Bug 1037776] Re: Slow copying due to high CPU usage

2012-08-17 Thread exactt
apport information

** Tags added: apport-collected precise running-unity staging

** Description changed:

I am copying over 500k files (83GB) from one SSD to another. Both ext4
formatted. Nautilus reports an average of 2.6MB/s . This performance is
a desaster and should be fixed.

The problem is probably related to the fact the one Core of my Core i7
is maxed out all the time.

I am running 12.04 AMD64 with latest updates. Both SSDs are directly
connected to the motherboard. AHCI is enabled.

What else can I provide to help solving the problem?

[Bug 1037776] [NEW] Slow copying due to high CPU usage

2012-08-16 Thread exactt
Public bug reported:

I am copying over 500k files (83GB) from one SSD to another. Both ext4
formatted. Nautilus reports an average of 2.6MB/s . This performance is
a desaster and should be fixed.

The problem is probably related to the fact the one Core of my Core i7
is maxed out all the time.

I am running 12.04 AMD64 with latest updates. Both SSDs are directly
connected to the motherboard. AHCI is enabled.

What else can I provide to help solving the problem?
