[Bug 338598] Re: [West Lake] Ubuntu 8.10: System unable to detect optimized graphic resolution.

2009-04-14 Thread jacyfan
Our ODM in TW will send a system to David Chen tomorrow for solving this issue.
If there is really Intel driver problem, we can involve Intel FAE and discuss
how to solve this issue in more efficient way.
Thanks!

[Bug 338598] Re: [West Lake] Ubuntu 8.10: System unable to detect optimized graphic resolution.

2009-04-13 Thread jacyfan
I tried to install all the update and edit the xorg.conf file according
to Jerone's suggestion. Then install the fix driver. System still can't
load the correct driver. Pls see the attached log files.

[Bug 338598] Re: [West Lake] Ubuntu 8.10: System unable to detect optimized graphic resolution.

2009-04-13 Thread jacyfan
Hi, Jerone,
I tried the new xorg.conf and it doesn't work. According to the
Xorg.0.log.old, seems the system load the Intel driver, but failed and load
Vesa again. I put the log file in the attachment, pls help to check.
By the way, if David Chen can get a PT system, is it more effecient to fix
this issue in short time?
Thanks!
