Quite agree with you, IMO it is quite a big bug and it's pretty scary
that it is still not assigned.

[Bug 835531] Re: Fn key not working on Apple Wireless Keyboard (Lion version)

2011-12-11 Thread poppop
Kernel 3.0.0.14 update adds fn key support but breaks suspend function.
After suspend/wakeup cycle, only the fn keys works.

[Bug 835447] [NEW] Wrong layout for bluetooth keyboard

2011-08-27 Thread poppop
Public bug reported:

I am running kubuntu 11.04 on a 2011 13 macbook pro with an Apple
wireless keyboard.

Both keyboards are Azerty. When booting and trying to enter something in
the login screen with the wireless keyboard. The layout used is qwerty.
If I hit any key on the laptop builtin keyboard, the layout suddenly
turns back to azerty layout and I'm able to use the wireless keyboard in
azerty. This also happens after login. The wireless keyboard is stuck
into the qwerty layout until I hit one of the key of the builtin
keyboard.

I think this bug is a duplicate of #559557 but as it is marked as
expired, I reopen another one.

Regards.

[Bug 835531] [NEW] Fn key not working on Apple Wireless Keyboard (Lion version)

2011-08-27 Thread poppop
Public bug reported:

On the updated version of the apple wireless keyboard for Lion, the fn
key is not working thus it is impossible to use the hotkeys like vol up
/ vol down.

Trying to grab output of the keyboard keys F1 - F12 with xev leads to
the same trace even if the fn key is pressed.

I am running kubuntu 11.04 on the MacBook Pro 13 2011. The keyboard
model chosen in the settings is Apple | MacBook/MacBook Pro and the
layout is fr-Macintosh.

[Bug 352811] Re: [Kubuntu 9.04] Amarok crashes if an input file is given.

2009-06-13 Thread poppop
The problem occurs when amarok is not started.

I obtain the following log when I do this :
1. Open a terminal
2. type amarok path to any mp3 file

 LOG

amarok ./audio.mp3

receive a reply (timeout by message bus)

a...@bell:~/folder$ KCrash: Application 'amarok' crashing...

As I do not have a debug-compiled amarok so I can't report the backtrace.
I guess the problem is the same as the one occuring when you double-click on a
MP3 file in dolphin and amarok is not started.

[Bug 367425] [NEW] Mouse focus stuck in a loop

2009-04-26 Thread poppop
Public bug reported:

I'm experience a really annoying bug. I think it is related to xorg.

I'm running a dual monitor setup on jaunty with a KDE4. When I am using
Eclipse, the mouse sometimes get stuck in the editor window and keep
blinking at a high frequency. I cannot do anything else in Eclipse but
the other applications still respond. After a random amount of time (can
be in minutes), the problem stops and I can use Eclipse again. The bug
seems to appear randomly and I am not sure it affects other
applications.

I have also noticed the xorg process and eclipse is taking almost all my
CPU time (about 74% for xorg) until the problem disappears.

I was not affected by this bug on Gnome. It looks like another bug about
lost keyboard events with usb devices which also affects me (related to
kernel)

Configuration :
Kubuntu Jaunty final
Shuttle XPCSG31
Core2Duo
Nvidia 6200
Dual screen with Nvidia drivers 180
Apple slim alu keyboard
Logitech MX1000.
Eclipse 3.4 Ganymede
