[Bug 536772] Re: wrong displaying with units of time

2010-04-08 Thread zerng07
It seems the clock has set to 24-hour clock in Lucid Beta2.

The attachment is the new displaying result while choosing 中文(繁體) First.

Thanks for improving that!

[Bug 536772] Re: wrong displaying with units of time

2010-03-20 Thread zerng07
I am sorry that I was wrong two hours ago.

I found out that if you choose English at the boot menu of live CD, than you
choose 繁體中文 while installation and the time format will displayed well.
However, if you choose 繁體中文 at the boot menu of live CD, the time format will
still display as squares.

[Bug 536772] [NEW] wrong displaying with units of time

2010-03-10 Thread zerng07
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: ubiquity

First, please take a look at the attachment for further information.

This is a bug since a long time ago (may be from 6.06, not sure), the
units of time displayed as Squre-shape characters instead of hr, min,
sec (That should be in traditional Chinese, but sorry for that I can
just type English now).

I am not sure about what the units displayed for other languages, you
may take a look of them too.

The wrong displaying may confuse the user whether is the time is wrong,
and cannot determine if he/she choose is right or not. Furthermore,
there are some users afraid of using Ubuntu while they don't believe
this is comfortable for their daily use.

Please fix this as soon as possible. We, members of traditional Chinese
community, will appreciate that a lot! (There were some guys made fun of
this when they were fighting Ubuntu Linux was actually suitable for
normal human using traditional Chinese as native language or not. )

[Bug 378942] [NEW] KDE4 notes plasmoid can't input Chinese

2009-05-21 Thread zerng07
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: kdeplasma-addons

In the past, I used KDE4.2 in Debian GNU/Linux; however, it was kind of
unstable. So, I have installed kubuntu recently after I decided to have
a better KDE4 support.

I could input Chinese with gcin Tsu-in input method in the notes
plasmoid in Debian.

But, when I try to input Chinese with the default input method (scim-
bridge NewChewing) which comes with Chinese support of Ubuntu, KDE4
crashes and restart.

As a result, I turned to gcin Tsu-in input method(which is not
officially supported by ubuntu, here is the repo:deb
http://debian.luna.com.tw/jaunty ./), but nothing was displayed after I
type some characters and pressed enter.
