Binary package hint: amarok
When i try to play an MP3 with Amarok, it refuses to play it, and offers
me to install mp3-support, eventhough i have mp3-support installed
already. No matter what i click, install-mp3 is started. install-mp3
correctly detects I have the required packages installed, and does
nothing.
Amarok correctly reads the id3-tags (both v1 and v2) on my collection.
It correctly displays the duration of my files. On the default streams,
it doesn't complain about the mp3-format, but it doesn't produce audio-
output either.
System information:
I'm running Ubuntu egdy x86 on an amd x64, updated 5 minutes ago. Apart from
the dependencies for kate and amarok, I have no KDE packages installed. My
