This is sure to offend some conscientious and dedicated people, but this is not aimed at those. More work is needed on fixing the system, which includes motivating some developers work more effectively. I believe Canonical is on the front lines of this war already, but has limited power to influence the mob upstream. I too have filed bug reports that got ignored. When there are 30,000 bug reports this is understandable.
