yeah php5 is not working for me on jaunty I installed it and restarted apache2 
but the browser keeps trying to download the *.php files

Hello,

Thank you for reporting this bug and helping make Ubuntu better.  Can you
try restarting Apache2 with /etc/init.d/apache2 restart and posting any
relevant errors in /var/log/syslog and /var/log/apache2/error.log?

the only thing I get is:

[Mon Apr 27 13:36:06 2009] [notice] caught SIGTERM, shutting down
[Mon Apr 27 13:36:07 2009] [notice] Apache/2.2.11 (Ubuntu) 
PHP/5.2.6-3ubuntu4 with Suhosin-Patch configured -- resuming normal 
operations


there are no errors that I can see

Hey it's ok now don't know what changed and I've restarted apache2 heaps 
of times maybe it was browser cache or something well it's ok now weird
