A UPDF Pay Clerk of the 49th Battalion has disappeared
with cash over 29
million shillings.
Geoffrey Odong, the Pay Clerk of the 49th Battalion
now based in Romoromo at
the Uganda Sudan border, reportedly stole the money,
which was meant for the
soldiers January salary.
UPDF Northern Spokesman Lt. Paddy Ankunda confirmed
the Pay Clerks
disappearance.
