RE: [Unattended] another installation is already in progress
This is the solution I was looking for. It fixed the problem. -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:unattended-info- [EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of [EMAIL PROTECTED] karlsruhe.de Sent: Saturday, May 07, 2005 6:28 AM To: unattended-info@lists.sourceforge.net Subject: Re: [Unattended] another installation is already in progress Hi, I think you have to upgrade to the latest install script for Adobe Reader. See: http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/unattended/unattended/install/scri pt s/ -- Moritz Hi, I am getting an error when during the post installation of the applications. It says Another installation is already in progress. Complete that installation before proceeding with this install. It seems that it is trying to install FireFox while the Adobe Reader is still installing. I am trying to install Adobe Reader 7.0 and am using the adobe-reader.bat script. I have not modified this script. Anyone have any idea about this? Brad --- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: NEC IT Guy Games. you could always just install firefox first the adobe, otherwise you need to use something like start /wait command so a command prompt waits till the termination of the install program before going to the next one It's probably better if Firefox is installed first, just like IE upgrades are, because the different installers detect which browsers are installed and then put plugins/addons in their directory. i.e. Adobe, Flash, Shockwave --- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: NEC IT Guy Games.
