Re: movie
Thanks for the tip, interesting stuff and excellent quality! Coincidentally, I just picked up working with internal reflections inside Platonic bodies and spheres, really crazy complex fractals! -Mark H ...a friend sent me a mail about his educative math movie...very interesting *** Besides www.josleys.com, there is now also www.dimensions-math.org, the companion website of a two-hour film of mathematical animations. From this website, the entire film can be downloaded for free, or you can order the DVD at only 10€. You can view the website in English, French and Dutch.. You are most welcome to come and have a look! Jos Leys http://www.josleys.com ***

Re: old musicvideos - done with real3d - amiga4000
Hello Jean, Wow, these are long animations. I don't understand why today with the faster computer and better software we only find really short animations and not very imaginative. LOL thats true, maybe we (me) are to old to do fresh stuff:-) Consider the link to these animation in my important e-mail. Do you have any new animation of this kind made recently, if no why? Unfortunatelly... no ... why? hmmm... don´t know exactly... but my work now is advertising graphics and just 1% 3d ...and no animations... the fun is over... thats sad but true:-) I was first fascinated by 3D animation because it could generate impossible images and impossible worlds.. dito:-) I like your work tijai more than anything else because you have a great imagination and because you created the best vehicle model ever. thanks soo much...!!! Create more so we can all enjoy. i wish i had the time to do something new !!! best regards tijai

Arjo Rozendaal schrieb: Very nice animations Tijai! I like the third one best. Must have been a long time of rendering! Arjo. Hello Arjo, thanks the third one...the one with lot of eyes? :-) this video was rendered very fast the fastest of them all... i remember i had a very very short time to do this so... i make a lot of spheres... they render very fast:-) even in the good old days:-) i got a very strong amiga4000 and some other amigas from friends... they all render day and night... and i got a DPS Perception ( or so) board in my amiga hardiskrecording... and playback... so i can play the clips directly from my amiga (with sound) to a professional Betacam-SP-Recorder.. best regards, tijai
Re: marble statue
Very beautiful, Jan! I love the 'toolmarks' on the hair, the ivy, the depth of field, the detail in the lighting, the image glow. I think Zaug is right about the lack of neck. Nice work! RE: marble statue
Hi Jan, Well done! The head looks very good. The hair displacement works very good too! To improve maybe: The speculars on the beard look a bit like plastic. I think marble has a bit less sharp speculars. Eyelids would be a good detail. The ivy looks a bit over saturated (bright green).
