Re: A little script - Wait for neaxt release !

2006-01-06 Thread Neil Cooke

Hi Zaug,

http://www.catmtn.com/realgreeblez.php

I'm looking forward to this one. I've got as far as
unzipping and the readme file. I believe it will be useful commercially and as
soon as I use it either there or with my own finished art I'll get back to your
donation box.

Thanks for your time and skills,

Neil Cooke

OK, now, maybe this time :PSorry to be the cause of so much
traffic. The version I just posted, 0.51, has the previosly mentioned fixes
and also fixes a bug, that has been there for some time, concerning the
"selected" face selection method; no more piles of nurnies on one face
:)Right, now perhaps you can Enjoy!,http://www.catmtn.com/realgreeblez.phpZaugZaug

This update, unlike the one mentioned below, actually updates the
window automatically rgardless of whether nurnies are activated or
not. It also leaves the sds mesh object selected, as I think is the
most conveinient way for this to be handled. This release also fixes
some issues that arise when the script is ran under RS3Dv4.5. Last, it
now gives a human readable error in the case of there not being an SDS
object selected.
I have started versioning and dating the script; for no good reason,
this is version 0.50 :)

As always it is here :

  Hi Zaug,

Many thanks for the script! I got it working after correcting the
little problem with the missing variables you mentioned.

Happy greebling,

Thank you Neil, that is very nice of you. I am working on it much still,
to fix bugs and to implement more things. It is getting close to what I
had hoped for, but of course, will never be finished.

Happy Greebling,

Zaug

Re: A little script

2005-12-29 Thread Zaug
Brandon,
This is actually caused by an omission bug referred to here :

Juha,
Disregard my last mail.
I have discovered and fixed the problem.
At least, the following lines are missing from the file r3subdiv.js :

var R3SUBDIVA_ExtrudeRegionOpt = 1235512;//Integer

var R3SUBDIVA_ExtrudeNormalOpt = 1235513;//Integer

var R3SUBDIVA_ExtrudeLeaveFloor = 1235514;//Boolean

You can add these lines yourself to fix this until you get the
officially updated files.
This has been fixed in the newest Linux version, but I do not know about
the windows version.

Hope this helps,
Zaug

 Zaug,

Very cool, but I can't get it to work... keep getting the following
 error:

 R3SUBDIVA_ExtrudeNormalOpt is not defined

 [error:r3mainw:7987

Probably just a user error because I don't know how to use it? if so,
would you please provide some aditional instructions on how to get
 started and see some results?

 Regards,
 Brandon

Hi Zaug :

Thanks for the script ! Those renderings on Staffan Norling's web page
look really awesome . Procedurals are the best , for sure , and your
Greeble stuff will prove that by looking so unique in every render .

Thanks again .
