Bug report: https://www.libreoffice.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=66412 Would anyone like to comment on this and state how this might be resolved? Thanks, Robert Question: how are you looking for the file, through LibreOffice, such as in File - Recent Documents ? Since a PDF file is not normally a LibreOffice format, I don't believe it should show up there. I say normally because when exporting a document as a PDF, one does have the option to Enable OpenDocument File ... I have not tested that, but it is supposed to make the PDF editable in LibreOffice, and possibly it would then appear in File - Recent Documents? Maybe? Re: [libreoffice-users] Created PDF files to not appear as recently created / used
Hello, Thanks for your insights. I managed to find a working solution to my problem. As long as I just export the document to PDF (even with Embed OpenDocument File option checked), the document won't appear in the list of recently modified documents. But if I check the option View PDF after export, then apparently my PDF viewer Evince will modify the file so that it appears in the list.
