Re: local to upstream connection
just checking, of course you have configured "alpha" side too? huh? i did the configuration on alpha, not on ph-sfc-sat (the other endpoint)? should i do "gifconfig" on both ends? you need to configure both ends. itojun - The IPv6 Users Mailing List Unsubscribe by sending "unsubscribe users" to [EMAIL PROTECTED]

on an ipv6 router, i set prefix_ed0=_valid_ipv6_block but it doesn't show when i do "ifconfig -a" ... it only shows the link-local address ... why is this? or when i define it manually too, it still doesn't show... i did this: #ifconfig ed0 inet6 2001:200:852:0:280:c8ff:fe2e:616b prefixlen 128 alias #ifconfig -a and it's not there... carla - The IPv6 Users Mailing List Unsubscribe by sending "unsubscribe users" to [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Presumably, said IPv6 router has an operating system? Even if it's a commertial router, it usually has its own "operating system" (such as Juniper JunOS, Cisco IOS, etc.). In any case, the point is that the original question had less information to answer. I admit my question was too simple, though. JINMEI, Tatuya Communication Platform Lab.
