Re: [Users] List of Mobile Phones/GPRS modems that support forwarding SMS WAP Push messages
Hi, I havn't found any regular phone that NOT intercept the arrived MMS notification, i.e handle to forward the notiication to the computer. So I use various 3G dongles for this purpose / Digiloo 2010/2/17 Ben Hardill b.hard...@gmail.com Hi, Do we want to start a list devices that can be used with the MBuni to send and receive MMS messages over the air? I've tries with a couple of Sony Ericsson phones I have access to and so far had no joy as the handset seams to intercepting the messages and not passing them on to kannel (if anybody knows the AT commands to change this (if possible) I would be very grateful). So here is the start of a list Phone | Send MMS | Receive MMS | Sony Ericsson W880i | yes| no | Sony Ericsson T68i | yes| no | Thanks Ben Hardill ___ Users mailing list Users@mbuni.org http://lists.mbuni.org/mailman/listinfo/users ___ Users mailing list Users@mbuni.org http://lists.mbuni.org/mailman/listinfo/users
Re: [Users] Possiblity of MO MMS to Mbuni machine skiping operator's MMSC
Hi, You have to change the MMS configuration in your phone and point out your own server as MMSC The phone will send a ,m_send_req over HTTP to your server and expects a m_send_conf response. / Digiloo 2009/11/18 aftab hussain aftab.huss...@seecs.edu.pk Hi all, Is it possible that I send an MMS from my mobile phone to Mbuni skiping Mobile Operator's MMSC. In what mode Mbuni should be used and what should be the required config parameters. Does it require some sort of special settings in mobile phone to do this. Has any one done this sort of thing. [Users] mms-service
Hi, I have a question regarding mms-services. I have defined a group mms-service in my configuration file. But the the associated post-url never seems to be invoked. I have tried to inject MMSs both from a cellular and with the mmssend utility both with the same (non) effect. The MMS is sent to it's destination without problem but my intention is to NOT send it (via kannel HTTP interface) but instead invoke my mms-service's post-url to save the MMS in a database for later retrieval. What extra configuration is needed for mbuni to invoke my mms-service? Regards Hakan ___ Users mailing list Users@mbuni.org http://lists.mbuni.org/mailman/listinfo/users
