Super boulot !

Christian

RE: Recent documents

2014-01-29 Thread jack keeney
Hey DaveThanks for the advice. I did locate it, and downloaded and
installed it. Now though, I can't figure out how to get it to work...to change
it to always show the last 15, instead of the most recent 10.

 Hi Jack,

Yes, it can be done manually by editing some configuration files, but it
is much easier and convenient to use one of the available extensions. My
own preference is the History Master extension:

Hi Jack,

Since you are not subscribed to this list, which strips attachments, I
have sent you a separate email with a couple of quick screen captures to
illustrate the following:

o From the main menu select
Tools - Add-Ons - History Master: List Handling.
o In the dialog (window) that opens change the List size option.

How to cover an unwanted object on a JPEG file

2014-01-29 Thread Marvin Sampson
Dear sirs:

Does OpenOffice have a way to select an area in a JPEG (photo) file like a
portion of sky, and then paste that area over an unwanted object in the photo,
in order to delete that object? I suspect that this can be done using
OpenOffice Draw. Where can I find the instruction for doing this?

Thank you,
Marvin Sampson

In Principle you could do this - copy/paste the photo, crop the one in
the foreground, move the part over the spot in the 1st photo. But I have
to admit that this would be possible, but a ressource killer (the
cropped file will stay in it's full size - OTOH it is a copy of the 1st,
so should be in mem and file only once).

Better alternatives:
- Edit the photo before adding it to AOO using any image editor (e.g.
Paint.NET for free)
- If you have it in AOO, copy/paste it to an image editor of yor choice,
do the needed modifications, copy/paste it back.

HTH!

Thank you,
Marvin Sampson

problems with OpenOffice

2014-01-29 Thread Marianne Vander Putten
Hello I have been using OpenOffice for about 4 months now and have loved it.
I'm having problms opening the progam.  I recently update MacOSX so I'm not
sure if this is why it's not working.  This is the error message that I am
getting:

'OpenOffice can't be opened because it is from an unidentified developer'.

Can you please tell me what I need to do.
