Thom, thank you. I believe that good maps does that also. I think I will try this app too. I found that sometimes it is nice to use different apps at times. Hi Terri. Like I mentioned in another post, I recommend “Ariadne GPS.” You will have to use sighted assistance to set up the original route but you can add Points of Interest along the way that mark cross walks, streets, doors, beginnings of sidewalks and anything else that fits your fancy. Any of the ones Richard mentioned, but don't you have organisations offering O training especially if it's such a short route you want to learn? I know of no GPS apps that will tell you about sidewalks. But, Apple Maps has gotten a lot better recently. Google Maps is also very good. You might also like GoodMaps outdoors.
