I have no idea. If the X server is headless, then how do you even know
that it is starting up properly? It may not be. Check your X server
error log.

Hi, I used your recommendation but I got the same results on both nodes
[VGL] ERROR: Could not open display :0.
I suspect that this error is produced because I don't have connected
monitors, keyboards and mice to the render nodes,
I made a test
In the server node pc1, I installed turboVNC, VirtualGL and Chromium were
already installed,
VirtualGL is configured answering NO to the three questions of
vglserver_config
I opened a new session of TurboVNC on the pc1
I connected remotly to the pc1 from a netbook with TurboVNC viewer
I opened a console in pc1
I ran
cd /home/cluster1/cr-1.9/mothership/configs/
python crdemo.conf atlantis
I opened other console and I ran
vglrun crserver
I opened other console and I ran
crappfaker
here I got two results:
If I had connected monitor, keyboard and mouse
The chromium example runs ok, it is not important if the monitor is turned
off or turned on
If I didn't have connected monitor, keyboard and mouse
I got the same error when ran
vglrun crserver
[VGL] ERROR: Could not open display :0.
Please If you know what to configure to avoid this error please help me, I
had just one monitor, keyboard and mouse connected to the appnode (pc5) of my
rendering cluster.
