Re: [Vo]:Satellite Video Captures Cloaked Klingon Ship
I stripped a few frames out of the video and used Image J to create a animated gif. https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/VdSgKfMWT81nW_FRSnO7PNMTjNZETYmyPJy0liipFm0?feat=directlink (it is 15 MB .gif file, you need to download it) What I observe is:. The blackness to the right and left of Mercury alters as the CME passes by. Part of the CME wave is apparently captured by the object and the rest goes onto pass by Mercury. The object grows in intensity until it is close to or equal to that of Mercury. As the object intensity grows there is distinct structural formation appearing. There appears to be a shock wave forming to the right of the object in the last few images. I have no idea of what it is but it is not an imaging fault as it was observed by another solar satellite. http://secchi.nrl.navy.mil/wiki/pmwiki.php?n=Main.FAQ Q:What is causing the artifact near Mercury in 20111201_232901_tbh1A.png? Why is it rectangular? A: In these HI-1 images, a daily median is used as the best near-real-time method to get CME enhancement. This results in dark spots from planets such as Mercury. When we derive the background, we do an interpolation between two daily median images. Since we make these images the day we receive them, we do not have a daily median for the next day, just the previous day. When the interpolation is done between the previous day and the current day and there is a feature like a planet, this introduces dark (negative) artifacts in the background where the planet was on the previous day, which then show up as bright areas in the enhanced image. Therefore, if (when) we re-generate these images, the bright artifact will go away because we have a daily median from the next day. Following is an illustration of the daily median images. The monthly background has been subtracted to bring out the planet artifact.

Look at the video taken from the opposite side of Mercury. If it was a real object, it would appear on the left hand side rather than the right hand side.

Hi, I really like the following comment: http://gizmodo.com/people/lilstevie/lilstevie http://gizmodo.com/people/lilstevie/ @Raul Gonzalez http://gizmodo.com/5865808/has-nasas-satellite-captured-an-unidentified-object-near-mercury# It is really an earth ship, powered by a ZPM protecting us from the CME, like they did on atlantis Well, that's it for all those believers and sceptics, clear evidence that CF exists ;-) Kind regards, MoB

When you look at the images from 2 satellites, 90 deg apart, in orbits around the sun, it makes it difficult to understand how this is a imaging failure.
