[Voyage-linux] Print Spooling Software (CUPS vs LPRNG)
We're looking at implementing a small appliance and were pondering which spooling system we should use. I'm familiar with CUPS, but I think it might be overkill for what we're going to be using it for. We don't need all the fancy drivers, etc. The print files are already going to be in the native format of the printer. I was thinking that LPRng big be a better fit - just to make sure things get queued up appropriately. The stock BSD would work also, but I think there are still some security issues with it. I just wanted to check with the group to see if you guys have any suggestions one way or the other. -- Leon ___ Voyage-linux mailing list Voyage-linux@list.voyage.hk http://list.voyage.hk/mailman/listinfo/voyage-linux

If I would test it again with Voyage I have to power off my working OpenWRT Asterisk Box (without gui). So I can't test it again if no chance to get it working with incoming calls... [Voyage-linux] Alix Power Button
Dear Folks, I am a newbie, so maybe my question is a little stupid :( ... but anyone knows how to connect a power button to the alix2dX board? I have connected a hard drive to this board and would be great to shutdown the operating system gracefully. Best Regards, -- Edgar Landívar MEGATELCON S. A. Hello Edgar, there is no such thing as a power button on the alix2 boards, they're intended to run 24/7. -Michael 2010/9/22 Edgar Landivar e_landi...@palosanto.com Dear Folks, I am a newbie, so maybe my question is a little stupid :( ... but anyone knows how to connect a power button to the alix2dX board?
