[libreoffice-website] BitCoin

2013-10-18 Thread Florian Effenberger

Hello,

good news: Our BitPay account has been set up! (Thanks for the hint again!)

This means we soon will be able to accept BitCoin donations. Steps to do
before is to implement their API to our website, and evaluate how we can
create donation confirmations for BitCoins with their daily changing value.

thanks a lot for your hint - seems some file system permission broke

I've fixed the problem and deleted the spammy pages. If you could take

[libreoffice-website] timing and venue problems for admin weekend

2013-10-18 Thread Florian Effenberger

Hello,

so, the poll for the admin weekend is filled in
(http://doodle.com/6cadtxzmrhwkuzu6).

Sadly, it seems to be hard to find a date where all the admins have time
- for all dates, one of Robert, Alex, Christian, Alin or myself is
missing, and I just got notice that November 9 (the only weekend that
makes some sense), our envisioned venue is not free anymore.

My proposal is to shift the next admin meeting to early next year then,
and plan in time, to hopefully get everyone at the same time. :-) In the
meantime, let's aim for some informal evening meetings in Munich or
Kaufbeuren to stay in touch - like yesterday evening, Alex, Robert and I
had a very productive meeting, and we'll meet in Munich on Monday
evening with Alin as well.

Does this sound agreeable to everyone?

[libreoffice-website] [Bug 70636] New: bug reporter pages are just plain fucked

2013-10-18 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=70636

  Priority: high
Bug ID: 70636
CC: website@global.libreoffice.org
  Assignee: libreoffice-b...@lists.freedesktop.org
Summary: bug reporter pages are just plain fucked
  Severity: critical
Classification: Unclassified
OS: All
  Reporter: fuck.registrat...@mailinator.com
  Hardware: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
   Version: unspecified
 Component: WWW
   Product: LibreOffice

If I'm coming to report a bug, the situation is already not good. The process
to report the bug should be reasonably easy. When I follow the obvious links
from the main page of the LibreOffice site, I arrive at what should be the
first page of the bug filling process, I instead just get the message that I
need to enable JavaScript to use that page. Ugh, not another senseless JS page.
The fact I can see the damn page for a fraction of a second before all the
content is replaced with the message about needed JavaScript just adds to the
annoyance. I can't help but wonder what portion of this process legitimately
needs JS. Whatever, shouldn't really matter, right below where it says I need
JS, there is mention of using the Bugzilla interface directly which is claimed
to be more advanced and does not require JS. Well good, that just what I want.
However, the link doesn't fucking work without JavaScript! If I click the
bugzilla link, the JavaScript message goes away and I'm left staring at a
mostly blank page, header at top, a few screens of whitespace, and the footer
at the bottom. How the fucking hell did you nimrods manage to make a link
require JavaScript?!? To get to this bugzilla instance from that page I simply
havef to temporarily allow JavaScript. What the fuck good is a link to a non-JS
version of the bug reporting facility if I can't get there without JavaScript?
huh? Are you retards really THAT fucking stupid?

P.S. The first bug report is written in a more annoyed tone than it would have
been due to the bullshit hoops I have to jump through to file it. This report
degrades to straight up vulgarity because, well, I shouldn't even have to be
filing this fucking bug. The fact this bug report exists means the system is
totally fucked. Fix your shit!
