I am currently running RC1 There is no upgrade link in my Tools menu any more. [wp-testers] Having a problem with get_the_category()
Hi, I'm having a problem getting get_the_category() to work, but the problem is only on my archive.php template. It works fine everywhere else. I always though it would work, but am I missing something. Here is the code I have. while (have_posts()) : the_post(); $cat = get_the_category(); $cat = cat_to_img($cat[0]-name); Yes I do end the while loop eventually. :P Can anyone help? Again this code works great on index.php single.php but not on archive.php. [wp-testers] Gallery tab missing???
Ok, so I upload some images and then go to change their order only to find the gallery tab is not there. I close the Iframe and reopen it and there it is... I've tried this a few times the gallery tab isn't there doesn't appear unless you close and reopen the thickbox Iframe. I wouldn't imagine this is intentional so I thought I'd give it a shout out. Also if anyone has any ideas on the blue ads I was mentioning I'd be greatful. I'm sure it's a WP issue since It doesn't happen outside of WP. Thanks. [wp-testers] Localized Version and Automatic Upgrade

When writing up a post about the release of 2.,7, I looked back to see when RC2 was released and it looks like they were both released to the public on the same day. This seems odd to me. I know that a Release Candidate is just that, a release candidate but I just find it odd that an RC2 would be released and in the same day, the actual version. Thanks for the clarification. I believe you're right. RC's through WordPress have been considered signs that the release could be hours away. I just hope those who report on the release point people to the public version and not the RC2.
