Re: [wp-testers] No comment notification using WP 3.0-alpha
Andrew - That fixed it! I uploaded the patched comment.php file, made a few test comments and the email notifications came rolling in. Many thanks for tracking the problem down and patching! It was something I couldn't have done on my own. Even though it will probably be pushed out with tomorrow's nightly, I'll pass on the patched files to the folks I was testing with. Nice to know I was seeing things or just being dense (I worry about that since I'm certainly not getting any younger). [wp-testers] SuperAdmin selecting subdomain site
Hello Wp-testers 3 alpha: It seems that selecting a site in SuperAdmin does NOT transfer page edits to that site. I found that I had to separately log in to newest subdomain blog to stop seeing yesterday's domain's pages. Re: [wp-testers] SuperAdmin selecting subdomain site
Hello Jamie I completed a subdomain blog yesterday. I made a new one today, selected in SuperAdmin, had to separately login to new subdomain before I could make/edit its pages. SuperAdmin had only let me edit prior subdomain's pages. I see great potential for confusion and frustration. I am waiting to hear your reply. Re: [wp-testers] What am i doing wrong?
I don't understand what you mean by that. Use your wordpress site and find the file described. Multi-Site is disabled by default to prevent confusion for novice users. To enable it, you must add a constant to the wp-config.php file in the root of your install. Open it up in your favorite text editor and add the following line near the top: define('WP_ALLOW_MULTISITE', true); Then in your admin panel visit Tools Network and complete the steps detailed within to get a Multi-Site copy of WP up and running. Let me know if you need help with this.
