Re: [WSG] CSS challenge: make a li stays same bg color when cursor moves to its siblings
I tweaked the Javascript a bit and one line of CSS. I think this is what you were trying to accomplish?http://jsbin.com/acori/16/ Many thanks! Yes it does. $('#nav li ul li').hover(function() It never occurs to me to target hover class. I thought when cursor moves away from a li and move to its's siblings, the hover no longer applies to that li class but the sibling where the cursor points to. tee *** List Guidelines: http://webstandardsgroup.org/mail/guidelines.cfm Unsubscribe: http://webstandardsgroup.org/join/unsubscribe.cfm Help: memberh...@webstandardsgroup.org ***

Re: [WSG] HTML/CSS reference
I was unable to find any contact information on that site... Without weighing in on the substance of what w3fools.com itself is saying, I'd suggest the substantialish list of twitter usernames under From at the top of the page might constitute a good starting point for making contact... :P http://w3fools.com/#contributors I'm curious to know which one you would pick? Because I doubt all these people have access to the site to make changes. In any case, that's not what I call contact information. I'm ok to send feedback to a web site if it is an easy task for me, but not if it requires me to do any guessing (and that includes CAPTCHA), or to register, etc. -- Regards, Thierry @thierrykoblentz www.tjkdesign.com | www.ez-css.org | www.css-101.org *** List Guidelines: http://webstandardsgroup.org/mail/guidelines.cfm Unsubscribe: http://webstandardsgroup.org/join/unsubscribe.cfm Help: memberh...@webstandardsgroup.org ***

Hard Boiled Web Design (Andy Clarke) is good. It's also quite light-hearted. -Original Message- From: li...@webstandardsgroup.org [mailto:li...@webstandardsgroup.org] On Behalf Of Dan Freeman Sent: Wednesday, 6 April 2011 11:08 PM To: wsg@webstandardsgroup.org Subject: RE: [WSG] HTML/CSS reference I agree ...
