Hmm, that sounds like a bug. You might want to subscribe to x2go-dev
as well and file a bug report, as described here:
http://wiki.x2go.org/doku.php/wiki:bugs#reporting_bugs

Use:
package: x2goclient
version: 4.0.5.0

as the first *three* lines of your bug report and send it to
sub...@bugs.x2go.org

Kind Regards,
Stefan

I forgot to add that the client is running on Windows 7 (version

Aaand you're using a full desktop view (either as fullscreen or in
windowed mode) or the published application mode?

[X2Go-User] Slow switching windows

2015-11-24 Thread Dirk Deimeke

Hi!

We are using RHEL7.1 with KDE 4.10 as Desktop on Hyper-V.

$ rpm -qa | grep x2go
x2goserver-4.0.1.19-3.el7.x86_64
x2goserver-xsession-4.0.1.19-3.el7.x86_64
x2goagent-3.5.0.32-2.el7.x86_64

(From EPEL repositories).

KDE / Workspace Appearance / Desktop Theme is set to "Air for netbooks".

Anyone having three or four Konsole windows open experiences slowliness
when switching between windows. You can see the windows

Reproducer:

Open three Konsole windows (other applications will work as well) and
click on each window to bring it to the front.

Any ideas how to fix this? It is quite annoying.

Cheers

Dirk

P.S.: Unfortunately I did not manage to speak to the x2go-guys at
Linuxday Dornbirn.

Full desktop windowed.

We are not able to reconnect to a full desktop fullscreen (black
screen). Since I see the mouse pointer changing, I guess the remote
screen refresh is not working.

the PID is set via eval $(ssh-agent).

This is what I do:

[[ -s $HOME/.ssh-agent ]] || ssh-agent -s > $HOME/.ssh-agent
source $HOME/.ssh-agent 2>&1 >/dev/null

if [[ -z "$SSH_AGENT_PID" ]] || ! ps -fp "$SSH_AGENT_PID" | grep -q
ssh-agent; then

ssh-agent -s > $HOME/.ssh-agent 2>&1 >/dev/null
source $HOME/.ssh-agent 2>&1 >/dev/null
fi

if ! ssh-add -l | grep -q id_dsa; then
ssh-add $HOME/.ssh/id_dsa
fi

Cheers

[X2Go-User] Global ssh-agent

2015-11-24 Thread Dmitry Bely
Hi,

I would like to use ssh-agent globally for X session (Debian/MATE if
it matters). X session starts it itself and when I login to X locally
it works as expected (SSH_AGENT_PID and SSH_AUTH_SOCK environment
variables are set correctly). But if I connect to the host via x2go,
strange things happen: in any terminal session SSH_AUTH_SOCK points to
non-existing path and SSH_AGENT_PID is not set at all. I tried to work
around this adding to ~/.bashrc:

if [ ! -S ~/.ssh/ssh_auth_sock ]; then
  eval `ssh-agent -s`
  ln -sf "$SSH_AUTH_SOCK" ~/.ssh/ssh_auth_sock
fi
export SSH_AUTH_SOCK=~/.ssh/ssh_auth_sock

This way SSH_AUTH_SOCK is correct but SSH_AGENT_PID is surprisingly
unset somethere. Any idea how to fix that?
