The path the cursor takes when traveling from one screen
to the next is deterimined by the ServerLayout section in
 the XF86Config. Example:

 Section ServerLayout
 Identifier DualHead
 Screen 0 Screen0 0 0
 Screen 1 Screen1 RightOf Screen0
 InputDeviceMouse0 CorePointer
 InputDeviceKeyboard0 CoreKeyboard
 EndSection

These options are documented in the man page for XF86Config.

   Mark.

Is there a method to specify a given screen the cursor will be put on after X start,
like we can specify the viewport location?

Thanks

[Xpert]About software cursor

2002-12-26 Thread Kun Cheng
Hi all,

I am now update a driver of XFree86. I met a problem that when choose to use s/w
cursor, it seems has conflict with 2D acceleration.
The cursor always left a turbid cursor box after drag a window. It seems that the s/w
cursor not update its background when 2D¡¯s blt is worked. How can I resolve this
problem? It seems we can¡¯t control a software cursor, and also has no
Flags can set in ScreenToScreencopy routine. In the coming XFree86 4.2.99.3,
The ARGB cursor is done by the software if driver not support yet, so the the problem
seems can't be avoid.

What can we do with this?

Thanks.
