[XFree86] XFree86Config Question

I just switched over to Gentoo 1.4, which I love so far, but I’m having some trouble with my XFree86Config file, and consequently my xserver.  Is there an Xconfigurator-like program in Gentoo that I can use to configure this thing a bit more easily?  Or is there one that I can easily “emerge” using Gentoo’s awesome portage setup?  Sorry if this is a really dumb question, but I am trying to learn more.     Thanks, Shawn
