Specifying a 9700 ID should work for 9800/9600. If you don't like this hack, attached is the patch for current CVS code. It contains 2D support for 9800/9600/M10/IGP7000/IGP9000. It also has fixes for bug 26, 193, 342(?), 351 and a few other things.
