But i would be nice to have the possibility to get all links with tag
'yahoo' but not with tag 'software' - yahoo-software

Is it atm possible to get these results?!

No. Currently only tag intersection (the + operator, as you've already
noticed) is supported. This question is often asked, probably because these
archives are hard to search (still, Google is the way).

I'm one of the guys who will like it.
And, if it's a FAQ, i can't understand why it's not implemented...

Personally, my most wanted boolean operator for del.icio.us is tag union. It
would open a load of possibilities.

Make some example, please.

Currently there is no mechanism for ie. fetching everything _javascript_ (_javascript_, java-script, jscript, js, Ajax, DOM). If there was, you could subscribe to a whole set of tags that may exclude each other, but are related (like in the example). Moreover, you could build hierarchies, trees from known tags. Building and storing trees would not necessarily be a feature of
del.icio.us, but could be client-side or hosted somewhere else and serve as an interface (adapter to del.icio.us API). Having trees would provide means to searching within an area of interest including its subbranches (everything W3C, everything _javascript_, everything concerning publications...). Searching within a brach or subscribing to it would be what one wants, especially when combined with intersections again to refine.
Maybe user groups (that are on the way) will serve as those wrappers for 'branches' as I've put it.

That's not the end of the world. You'd have to convert them all to
underscores, or camelCased, or something, and email the users of the
change to improve the functionality and user experience of
del.icio.us.

The greater variety of set operations, the better. Delicious can only
benefit from it, IMO.

The reality of it is practically nobody uses even intersections. Adding
generic set calculus would likely greatly degrade performance.

On the otherhand, unions (as discussed) are probably likely.
