[Ac100] [Bug 1026510] Re: lxkeymap does not remember settings
the problem here is not lxkeymap, but the fact that oem-config (ubiquity) does not offer keyboard selection during install and just defaults to whatever is set in /etc/default/keyboard (which lxkeymap just uses as well) ... to work around the issue until the bug is fixed: edit /etc/default/keyboard to use the keymap you want run sudo dpkg-reconfigure console-setup, answer all questions with their defaults and reboot (along with a proper desktop keymap you now should also have the right keymap on the console) ** Also affects: ubiquity (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: lxkeymap (Ubuntu) Status: Fix Committed = Invalid ** Changed in: ubiquity (Ubuntu) Status: New = Triaged -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of AC100 Team, which is subscribed to AC100_enablement. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1026510 Title: lxkeymap does not remember settings Status in Enablement project for the Toshiba AC100 NetBook: Confirmed Status in “lxkeymap” package in Ubuntu: Invalid Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu: Triaged Bug description: lxkeymap is not able to read its own config. bluszcz@rafal ~ $ cat .config/lxkeymap.cfg [Global] layout = us variant = euro option = bluszcz@rafal ~ $ lxkeymap Sections: ['Global'] Layouts: ['es'] Variants: [] Options: [] ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 12.04 Package: lxkeymap 0.7.99+dfsg-0ubuntu1.1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.2.0-26.41-generic 3.2.19 Uname: Linux 3.2.0-26-generic x86_64 NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia ApportVersion: 2.0.1-0ubuntu11 Architecture: amd64 Date: Thu Jul 19 10:23:41 2012 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 12.04 LTS Precise Pangolin - Release amd64 (20120425) PackageArchitecture: all ProcEnviron: TERM=xterm PATH=(custom, no user) LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: lxkeymap UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ac100/+bug/1026510/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ac100 Post to : ac100@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ac100 More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp

[Ac100] [Bug 1164071] Re: raring daily blank screen after install
so this is Bug 1084063 ... i will not duplicate it though since i will work out a workaround specifically for the ac100 (manually this can be worked around if you have an sosboot partition, boot into it after the hang. mount your rootfs partition and just remove all of /etc/init/plymouth*) ** Also affects: plymouth (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: plymouth (Ubuntu) Status: New = Confirmed ** Changed in: plymouth (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided = High ** Changed in: plymouth (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) = Oliver Grawert (ogra) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of AC100 Team, which is subscribed to AC100_enablement. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1164071 Title: raring daily blank screen after install Status in Enablement project for the Toshiba AC100 NetBook: Confirmed Status in “plymouth” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: testing raring daily for Toshiba ac100. Re: [Ac100] Raring on AC100?
hi, On Di, 2013-04-30 at 15:17 -0400, Jeff Lane wrote: And apparently, I'm not the only one with that issue. Coincidentally, there was another person who hopped into #ac100 and asked about exactly the same thing just an hour before I logged in to ask. Neither of us got any response though :( So is there some trick necessary to get graphics working with Raring on the AC100? no, it should work out of the box and i know of at least two persons who tested the image before final release, i wonder if something went wrong with publishing the right build to the final release target, you could try different versions of the final builds from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/lubuntu/daily-preinstalled/ the problem with these images is that i as the maintainer only have very very limited time to even look at them, i can keep them building but if nobody steps up to test them before the release or helps to fix bugs i fear we will have to shut them down at some point ... it would be helpful if some community people could step up and take over some responsibility ... ciao oli signature.asc Description: This is a digitally signed message part ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ac100 Post to : ac100@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ac100 More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp

[Ac100] [Fwd: Trusty Tahr Alpha 1 participation?]
hi, Forwarding from ubuntu-rele...@lists.ubuntu.com: since it came up a few times on IRC recently, if you want to participate in Lubuntu ac100 testing so that the ac100 Images for 14.04 do not get cancelled due to not enough interest of testers (like it happened with the 13.10 release). Please contact the Lubuntu flavour representative so he/she can put your name in for ac100 image testing. For further questions, please talk to Kate or mail the ubuntu-release list. ciao oli Forwarded Message From: Kate Stewart k...@ubuntu.com To: ubuntu-rele...@lists.ubuntu.com Subject: Trusty Tahr Alpha 1 participation? Date: Thu, 12 Dec 2013 09:08:33 -0600 Hi, Alpha 1 is scheduled[1] for next Thursday (December 19th), so its time to figure out who'll be opting in to participate in this first alpha for the new LTS. :-) The page we'll be using for tracking participation is: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/TrustyTahr/Alpha1. Could each of the flavors representatives, please review the page, and fill in the ?? and double check that the right contacts for this release recorded? I'll be using this as the basis for setting up the framework for the release notes, etc. on monday. Thanks for your help with this, Kate, on behalf of the Ubuntu Release team.
