it does not need java since version 4.3
only for database and using macro you need to install java.

for example: in previous versions, when i wanted to navigate word by
word using control left and control right, when there was a
punctuation nvda first says the page number and blank.

libreoffice newer version can be installed and it does not need to
uninstall the previous version!
