With my v2.6.26, problem is resolved after 1 month usage...
No kernel update and no acpi or cpufreq update, but it's seems working

Hi,
just add that this patch also fixes (at least in my case/tests with a EeePC
701) the case where the hotkeys stop working after a suspend/resume cycle.

I have compiled 2.6.28-rc3 and now ubuntu dont hang on boot.
