My experience with BIOS v1.32 and Ubuntu Hardy (Kernel 2.6.24-12-generic
x86_64) is as follows.

- on resume (from console) s2ram -f -p does not anymore give me my display
back, however blindly typing reboot or s2ram again works

I don't have an intel but an ati card (radeonhd X driver) and it does not work
even under the console... however under the console it still works at least in
2.6.24 ...
