I know this has been answered but wanted to put out my two answers...
The quickest way assuming your machines are all in an AD domain is to look
at the operatingsystem attribute of the computer object.
You will see the following values
Windows NT
Windows 2000 Server
Windows 2000 Professional
Is there a way to tell via vbs?
