in faces-config.xml?

I don't see how that's possible - if the Trinidad renderkit is
what you're using, you shouldn't have the class:
org.apache.myfaces.shared_tomahawk.renderkit.html.HtmlResponseWriterImpl
... in use. Have you set a renderKitId on f:view?

i have myfaces core, tomahawk, facelet and trinidad. I did not set this in
f:view. I also tried that before but it didnt work.
