Since TSM is pretty rigorous about copying everything in a primary pool to the copypool, only way I can see is to split your primary pool in pools A and B. Send backups 1-3 to pool A, backup 4 to pool B. Do backup stgp on pool B, and send resulting tapes offsite. You'll need to fiddle with
Hi everybody.
Our configuration:
Win2k SP2
TSM 4.2.1.20
After a lot a work. We succeed to Upgrade to 4.2
without loosing ALL the data. ( I hope )
The same API code that worked on WIN2K 3.7.4 does not
work now.

ones.
We get the 2065 RETURN
The only way that I can think of is to create 2 onsite primary pools and
change the management classes before each backup to what you want it to be.
Unfortunately, that means the init[SID].utl file has to be different for
each primary pool and you will have to do some switching of the file right
This appears to be true even on the 3494 library. I have even tried using a
volrange and multiple commands and still only one runs. The others wait
until it is complete.

During a tape labelling process (we are in the process of filling the
library with new tape):
checkin libvol 3584LIB1 search=bulk checkin=scratch labelsource=bar
Causes the unit to load one drive only, the robot waits for this label
process to complete then
checks the tape in, one at a time.
