Zlatko, I am actually surprised you even got this to work. When you define in DSM.SYS as LANFREE it has to go directly to tape for everything you are backing up with that node. Nothing can go to a disk pool. So, you have to define multiple stanzas in dsm.sys and multiple dsm.opt files. Now

The problem seems to be solved. There was a service 'IBM Automatic Server Reboot' that caused the reboots. It is a known problem at IBM and the problem is fixed in a more recent version of the service. It has been installed and the server didn't reboot since then. Thanks for the guided help
