Hallo,
backup incr at netware saved nothing, but query event says completed.
IBM says, the problem is fixed with TSM-Client 5.2.2 (IC37299).
But today there is no release date for 5.2.2 known.
Who has a simple way, to check the backups without using query event ?
Thanks
Andreas.
What? I see CA-1 recognize tapes as scratch when they outlive the REUSE

I was under the impression that the TSM clients were multithreaded.
But I can not find any documentation that specifically identifies
multithreading as part of the client. Only that it will run on either

When TSM mounts a scratch tape the EXPDT field in CA-1 gets updated as PERMANENT and CA-1 will never recognize that tape as a scratch until the EXPDT changes to an expired date. The EXPDT will not change until I delete the stgdelete volumes from the VOLHISTORY file. So if I do a query volhist;
it could be the version of TSM server does not support that library. I just
upgraded from 4.2 to 5.1.7 because I have a Quantum M2500 library that is
not supported in 5.2.

Hi Andy, I have another question along these same lines. We use to be able

There are also ways to configure the TSM client to facilitate Win2K (and

You need to do the AD restore in AD repair mode. You could perform the
