If this is being generated from the GUI, load the 5.3.0.1 client from the FTP site. The readme for the patch shows almost all the APARS as problems/crashes with the GUI, especially crashes after replying to the password prompt.

Open the server's remote management website (http://servername:8008), click the Set Parameters link, then the Communications link. It will be in there. You can also set it at the console with a command something like set tcp delayed acknowlegement = off. I don't believe the setting stays
