Hi List,
I`ve trouble with a TSM Backup Client.

Every night or at start/restart of the client I get this error:

Hopefully IBM will clear this out (already have two PMR's opened with

Cheers.

Hi Wanda,
I was thinking to Kurt's situation, so i guess that he wants the full
monthly backup just to do a restore and not to keep the imported data for a
longer time. And as long there is no new backup of the imported node, even
the dates=relative is not absolutely necessary, but to keep it

Robert,
I don't understand the question.
There is no way to query just a single database from a FULL backup
from the Data Protection for Exchange CLI.
Are you trying to do this from the Data Protection for Exchange CLI
or as a TSM Server SHOW VERSION command?

I would regard this as an outgrowth issue, where the amount of data
has outgrown the now-very-old Windows 2000 operating system within
which the data lives. W2K is known to have a variety of memory

I have a problem with TSM 5.3.0.2/AIX and TSM 5.3.0.15/W2003.

Kurt,
I sent this information off to our Netware admin as a possible fix for
some issues we're having, and she cannot even locate the setting. I tried
a Google search with no luck, and a search of Novell's website didn't
return anything to me. I'm not a Netware person at all so I have no idea

If this is being generated from the GUI, load the 5.3.0.1 client from the FTP
site. The readme for the patch shows almost all the
APARS as problems/crashes with the GUI, especially crashes after replying to
the password prompt.

Go to http://www.ibm.com
In the search field, enterACD0004E
See if the Technote thus revealed helps with your situation.

Well, I don't think that this client will move up to Win 2K3, OS-wise in
the near future. So what to do in the meantime?

Troy answered the question already. These changes are required to make the

It can be changed from the CLI with the command 'SET TCP DELAYED

Due to a capacity issue with my libraries, some of my onsite primary pool
