Hi Shawn,
You may try with the undocumented command show version, which will
give you the deactivation date for inactive files. Some data massaging
on the output will be needed to isolate the inactive objects ...
Syntax for the comand is : show version NODE_NAME FILESPACE_ID
nametype=fsid
Hope
I personally would believe your Windows Admin (after all, it's his data,
not yours) and just do a delete filespace on all the data associated
with that node. That way you don't have to redefine the node and all
the schedule definitions are intact. Your job is done, you just need to
wait for him
My thanks to all who responded to the question about reusing a node
name.
Best wishes,

Given that yours is very much a Mac site, I was curious as to your
Since TDP for ORACLE and MSSQL use the API, I should be able to encrypt
some or all of DB backups we do. Since SQL generates the directory name
for the backup, how do we determine which is which to include or exclude
selected DBs on a particular client? We have one client with about 75 DBs

We did the same thing with both backups. Both of them went faster but the OS
backup went from 30 GB/hr to over 130 GB/hr. The DB backup went from about 45
GB/hr to around 65 GB/hr.
