The network transfer rate is very slow, are the NICs set to full duplex and speed fixed or are they autonegotiating with the switch? What else is passing through the TSM Server NICs at the time? Are the backups going to disk or tape?What are those resourses doing at the time? Also, can you get

Hi Ian, The TSM client that's having issues was sending it's data to a disk pool and not tape. The NIC's are set to 2GB on both. The TSM server was doing approximately 6 NAS NDMP backups, 2 Admin Tape to Tape backup stgpool copies and I believe there were approximately 6 TSM clients

I just did this on a TSM server at 5.4.1.0 level. It seems to work fine, but I found a couple of operational limitations. I normally have a TAPEPOOL01 and a COPYPOOL01 storage pools that I use for tape copies. DISKPOOL is set to go to TAPEPOOL01. I was going to just change the TAPEPOOL01
